Our story begins at a struggling shoe factory in Northampton, one of many struck by cheap imports of low-quality goods. Here, Charlie Price, who inherited the business from his father, is sure he would have to close the unprofitable factory and make people, that he knew all his life, redundant. Unless a miracle happens, and this one goes by the name of Lola. A sassy drag queen who introduces Charlie to a niche shoe market that might just save his business.

This fabulous show with music and lyrics by pop icon Cindy Lauper (!!!) is going to take you on a non-stop entertaining ride with lots of sequins, heels, and attitude. With impressive dance choreography of the Angels, on heels and in amazing sparkly costumes, and emotional songs by the cast it's the ultimate entertainment gem.The multilayered story of saving a family legacy, searching for your calling, and accepting yourself and others for who they are, bring warm fuzzy feeling.

Based on a true story of Steve Pateman and his W.J. Brooks Ltd. factory in Earls Barton, Northhamptonshire, who saves family business by entering a new niche market. After being approached by Sex shop Laces in Folkestone he started a new Divine range of fetish footwear for men and women, which kept the factory going through tough times. The process has been filmed by BBC for their 'Trouble at the Top' documentary series. The factory later expanded to produce women's shoes, bags, fragrances, underwear and erotic toys. Quite a story.

A must see for every shoeaddict!
